About Us
Manos Con Alas Ministries sprang from the heart of Michael N. Budincich, who, after an eye-opening trip to Mexico, found his calling in offering chiropractic and humanitarian care where it was needed most.
His journey began alongside dedicated groups like the “Flying Samaritans,” but it wasn't long before his passion took flight-quite literally!
Michael became a pilot, a decision that launched a love project involving planes and healthcare missions. From those early days of solo trips, his vision soared, evolving into a community effort with fellow kind-hearted volunteers. They began jetting off together, their planes packed with hope, setting course for areas around Baja, California, and beyond!
While the Manos Con Alas home base is in El Monte, California, their hearts belong to the skies and the communities they serve. With each mission, up to 18 spirited volunteers, including doctors, nurses, and various support buddies, join the adventure. Together, they share not just medical aid but also food, comfort, and joy, reaching out with open arms and healing hands to anyone in need, regardless of their background or beliefs.
What began as a tiny seed in the mind of one caring doctor, is now a growing, blossoming idea among the Christian community of pilots in Southern California, who wish to serve their fellow man with humanitarian care, as well as to spread the Good News of our belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
The ministry is an ever-growing circle of friends with a shared mission, and always welcomes a helping hand. There's a perpetual need for support, whether financial or spiritual, to keep the planes aloft and the aid flowing. There has never been any charge for services Manos Con Alas has provided in the past nor does the Ministry intend to charge a single penny for any services in the future.
